The Church and Church Planer Mill team is equipped with the experience, technology, and industry-leading equipment needed to provide customers with lumber products for a variety of industrial uses.

Our Capabilities

We use a Pendu 4300 Chop/Gain Rip Line with Stacker in order to manufacture cut stock. This equipment's cantilevered arbors accept saw blades of 8", 10", or 12", providing the adaptability to tackle anything up to 8" high and 12" wide. This machine gives us the ability to provide our clients with customized industrial products. We can manufacture all of our products as heat-treated (HT), kiln-dried (KD), or Green (GRN). 

Our products include:

  • Chicken house slats: Slat size 4x14 or 5x14 (made from Poplar), but can customize sizing.
    • Replacement bundles are 48” long, min. 300 ct.
  • Pallet Stock and Crating Stock: We provide standard and customized pallet and crating stock sizes for a variety of industries. 
  • Dunnage: Our sawmill is capable of cutting specific sizes of dunnage in hardwood and pine. 
  • Packaging/Banding Groove: Our team produces banding groove lumber in all thicknesses, widths, groove sizes, and lengths in accordance with the requirements and specifications of our customers.
  • Fencing:  1”x 6” Hardwood and Pine fencing is offered in Green or Kiln Dried applications.
  • Cribbing: Dimensional Hardwood Timbers cut to specific lengths. 
  • Lagging: Thick Hardwood boards cut for retaining walls.
  • Construction Timbers and Bridge Timbers: Quality timber used for construction and building bridges.
  • Custom Rips (hardwood): Flooring blanks, moulding blanks (FAS, 1C, 2C).
  • Custom Home Timbers: fully customized to customer specification.
  • Survey Stakes, Waddle Stakes, etc.

Purchasing

We purchase well-manufactured blocking in hardwood and pine. The types of blocking we purchase include:

  • 3.5 x 6" or 3.5 x 8"
  • 4” and 6” Crating

Decking

We supply 5/4" x 6" radius edge decking with lengths of 8-16’ to accommodate a variety of needs for our clients. Available in Premium and Standard grades.  We have the expertise and equipment to manufacture exactly what you’re looking for.
